It would have been a truly lovely evening if it wasn't so COLD! The wind was blowing a stiff breeze gusting from 6 all the way up to 14 on the wind meter. I'm not sure if it was knots but Stan was very helpful by taking the wind reading while I took photos of everyone getting ready. It was a decent turnout of mix of all sizes so we chose to have just one start in order to get 3 races in. Eric and Michael/Stan/Don where very helpful getting all the flags up while we tried not to mess up the starting sequence.
So thank you top of the hill gang!
The races went off without a hitch and luckily the wind slowly calmed and no one ended up going for a drink. We had asked for a water report but the consensus was it was cold so luckily no rescue needed. For the results, click on BLSC 2015 RACE REPORT Wednesday May 20 2015.
The real fun started after the race, the motor boat died out and we had to row back from half way to "B", after getting out the second boat and Al Sullivan help we managed to get everything finally put away.
