Belwood Lake Sailing Club has friendly but seriously contested racing twice a week, on Sunday afternoons with the warning gun at 2pm, and on Wednesday evenings with the warning gun at 6:30pm. "Friendly" means errors are generally pointed out and forgiven readily, and "seriously contested" means what it says. There is generally good camaraderie to be had after the races where spirited discussion analyzes the events on the water.

The races are generally run from the race desk on shore using a horn system and flags. PROs may occasionally elect to run the races from a committee boat on the water.

Contact the Race Captain with any questions you may have about the racing program, and if you want to be put on the race captain's email list.

All racers are expected to help run the races on a rota system. To see the PRO assignments, go to Racing->Race and PRO Schedule
